People purchase guns for a variety of reasons. You may be a gun collector, avid hunter or interested in a gun for personal protection.

Central Treasures is owned by a licensed Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder with more than 38 years of experience in collecting firearms. We have the tools, knowledge and contacts available to provide you the best service possible in purchasing a gun.

There are certain regulations for purchasing a gun that are required. Below is an overview of common questions, but please contact us if you have any additional questions or would like to discussion your gun purchase.

Do you special order firearms?

How do I bid on and receive a firearm?

Bidding is easy.  Just follow the directions under the “Bidder Section” for creating an account and registering to bid.  We follow all Federal and State laws.

You must be 18 years old or older to bid on and receive a long arm (rifle or shotgun).

You must be 21 years old or older to bid on and receive a handgun (pistol or revolver).

All customers who are the successful high bidder of a firearm will complete the standard ATF Form 4473 and will be required to complete a standard background check.  If you are a convicted felon or unable to pass a background check, please do not bid on firearms.

Firearms manufactured in or prior to 1898 are considered “Antique Firearms” and do not require an ATF Form 4473 completed to complete the transfer.  Firearms that fall in the “Antique Firearms” category may also be mailed directly to your home residence.

Central Treasures also accepts Type 03 Curio and Relic (C&R) FFLs for qualifying firearms. If you are a C&R FFL holder, please contact us so we can provide you with FFL copy delivery instructions.

Do I have to have a Federal Firearms License (FFL) to bid online and receive a firearm?

I live outside of Texas. Can I bid on and receive a firearm?

Yes, in most circumstances.  A person who can legally own a firearm and resides outside of Texas may bid on, win and receive a firearm as long as the state laws within the state they reside in are abided to.  Be sure to check your state requirements on firearm ownership and whether a firearm may be shipped to you before placing a bid. If you are a convicted felon or unable to pass a background check, please do not bid on firearms.

Successful bidders will pay the cost of the gun, the applicable buyers premium plus shipping/handling.

If you live within a border state of Texas, (i.e. Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico or Arkansas) and are purchasing a “long gun” (rifle or shotgun), you may pick it up locally in Texas. In this situation, we would have you fill out the standard ATF form 4473 and complete a background check.  “Handguns” (automatic pistols and revolvers) must be shipped to a FFL dealer in the state you live and not available for local pick up in Texas.

If you live outside of Texas and require an item to be shipped (whether it is a handgun or long gun), have your licensed gun dealer within the state you live send Central Treasures a copy of that gun dealer’s Federal Firearms License (FFL).

Firearms manufactured in or prior to 1898 are considered “Antique Firearms” and do not require an ATF Form 4473 completed to complete the transfer.  Firearms that fall in the “Antique Firearms” category may also be mailed directly to your home residence.

Central Treasures also accepts Type 03 Curio and Relic (C&R) FFL’s for qualifying firearms.  If you are a C&R FFL holder, please contact us so we can provide you with FFL copy delivery instructions.

If you have any questions about the ATF form 4473 or regulations on transferring firearms please contact us.

WE DO NOT SHIP FIREARMS TO CALIFORNIA OR NEW YORK, DUE TO STATE LAWS.  IF YOU RESIDE IN CALIFORNIA OR NEW YORK, PLEASE DO NOT BID ON GUNS.
